Hi Barb,
I will join the party.... I am currently reading Labyrinth by
Kate Mosse, a writer from the UK. This is a book set both in 2005
and in the year 1209 in the south of France. It is sort of in the
vein of the DaVinci Code, but more detailed historically. It is a
real page-turner! It is a grail story for the most part, with lots
of mystery and intrigue. Quite an enjoyable read so far!
I am also reading a collection of essays called Grandmothers
Counsel the World, edited by Carol Schaefer. The stories are from
the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers, plus some other notable women writers
and thinkers. This is a lovely book, with personal wisdom and wisdom
for our planet.
